I'm not sure if you know this or not, but God of War was one of my favorite games. Perhaps of all time. I can't tell you how friggin' pumped I was when word hit that they were already in the process of making a sequel. With movies, sequels tend to suck. With games, things can only get better. Devil May Cry 2 aside. According to IGN, the game is better than the first, and that's no easy thing to accomplish. God of War was one of the best action games of all time. This new game promises to take that title for itself, and that kicks ass. I can't wait to play it... man, I can't even think of any more words. Right now is a pretty good time, 'cause I'm pumped for 300 (if you don't watch this, you'll be missing out on one of the greatest movies of our time) and now God of War II, which is due to be released sometime this March. Frig'.

I also want to raid the IMAX for this one. Never been there before, so I might as well go in with a massive bang.
Also, if God of War made you feel like a man while playing it, God of War II will make you feel like... twice the man you thought you were before. Or something along those lines.

It looks awesome. Those graphics put to shame some of the Xbox 360 and PS3 titles.

God of War pushed the very boundaries of the PS2 in terms of graphics and what not. God of War II will push it to the brink of existance. This is the PS2's swan song. It's going out with a bang.

Alright, I got it on Monday, and it kicks ass. No, more than that... it creates ass, then wipes it from existence. It's so damn fun to play (aside from the odd "OMFG what the hell am I supposed to do!?" part), and the world looks friggin' amazing. One of the boss battles near the end will go down in history as the funnest battles in any game I've ever played. It's epic, the music kicks ass, and there's shit blowing up as you dodge an onslaught of energy balls by swinging from hook to hook.
Anyway, I haven't beaten it yet. About 14 hours into it and I'm damn close to the end. The part I'm at now is pretty friggin' hard though. You have to go down this long ass spiral staircase while fighting every enemy you've ever fought (aside from the bosses, and minibosses). The annoying thing is that there isn't any "checkpoints". You die, you have to start again.
The game is awesome. Buy it. Or at the very least, rent it.

Well, we just got a brand new 27'' High Definition LCD TV for our basement. I'll be hooking up the Wii to it whenever I get it. I'll probably rent a PS2 and that game and play it on that.
