So i'm saving up to buy a new gaming computer, and i was gonna get an alienware, but i've heard from more than on person that you can get the same quallity for less from other computer companies. DON'T TELL ME TO BUILD MY OWN, YA THINK I HAVEN'T ALREADY HEARD THAT?
so, does anyone have any suggestions?

The only thing I could find cheaper than Alienware was a Dell, but even then it was only a very small bit cheaper. Nothing even worth thinking about. I'm sure some serious digging could pull something up, but other than building your own (lol), I don't know what else to say.
I bought an Alienware, and I'm not disappointed. Mind you, it was expensive... but not so much that I keep thinking "Shit, I could have saved a bunch of money."

If i had say, $2000-$2500, what kinda comp could i make myself? like what specs do you think?
i'm aiming for $3000, but 2-2.5 thousand is more realistic

You could get a pretty decent one. Caz (my bro) is trying to get a pretty badass one for about $1500, so $2000/2500 would get you a better one. You could always just hit alienware.com and test build some to see prices and specs. I did that like... 20 times before actually getting one lol.
